Lauren Dickinson Clarke Beware Of The Wear Trap Mug
The story behind the design
This whimsical design is inspired by Lauren’s time working in the peculiar world of fashion. ‘Beware of the Wear Trap’ was an expression used to warn others away from celebutantes who were usually on the prowl for free garments to wear to their next stylish soirée.
The wear trap in this illustration symbolises the trappings of fashion and (dare we say it…) narcissism.
